Post Hardcore brushed with a touch of Deathcore, Cassie’s dying breath centered the name around a classmate who died in 2007. The band uses Dean Guitars, EMG pickups, Schecter Bass, Tama drums, Fender and Behringer Amps, and Yamaha Keyboards. Currently there is only a demo album that was recorded last year. New album “Thats all she wrote” is set to be released later this year. Biography
2007 WAS A TOUGH YEAR says Jay Hollingsworth, of whom gotten the news that a third friend died in Iowa. After 3 years in and out of projects with Alex Whitted, the two recruited Alex Laici from Tucker GA who introduced them to drummer Aiden “hitman” Seyss. Kimberley Summers of Canton GA joined later. The two founding members named the band Cassie’s Dying Breath for their friend who fell victim to suicide in 2007. The band has written songs to “Steer humanity away from the tragic Pop and Rap society” so far only a lone demo with 3 songs was recorded. With growling vocals, screeching guitars, and the pounding of drums, Cassie’s Dying Breath was recorded by Nick Ogawa in Buford GA who runs “Common Sense Records” and who describes the band as “Intense, I look forward to their new album”
