Yes, i understand this. Thing is, I cannot say that i have a genuine friendship with either. We’re not friends. If they were to leave my life, I wouldn’t miss them in the way I would miss a real friend. So they’re truly on the same level. I’m closer to neither. I’ve been around #1 more cause we had a class together but it was always a classroom setting. #2 I’ve been around him way less but it was always under a less formal setting. Around friends etc. I think the only way #1 trumps #2 is by looks & possibly his intellectual level.
You should go for #1. If #2 was always there I believe you must have already built a good friendship #2. If you can get #1 to open back up to you and be straight up with him you both will fall in intimate love together and be serious together.
