Scandal Sets Viewing Record In Premiere

Steamy Scandal is still gaining heat. Thursday’s third-season premiere of ABC’s Kerry Washington drama attracted a series-high 10.5 million viewers, according to preliminary Nielsen ratings.

The Scandal premiere, which featured fallout from the revelation of Olivia Pope’s (Washington) affair with the president (Tony Goldwyn), was up 57% in viewers and an even larger 71% in young adults compared to last fall’s opener. It enjoyed its biggest growth to date out of Grey’s Anatomy (9.4 million, up 1% from last week’s two-hour premiere), topping its lead-in by 12% in viewers and 20% in young adults.

On the social-media front, Scandal scored a series-high and evening-high 712,877 tweets, up 714% from last season’s premiere and 22% from May’s season finale.

In the battle of comedy stars, the second episode of Robin Williams’ The Crazy Oneson CBS (11.8 million) was down 24% from last week, but it stomped the premiere of…

Along with a few other notable drops tomorrow, Nike is set to also release their newest version of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite with some interesting designs. With an allure of colors throughout this entire basketball shoe there are a few parts that stand out including the “Pop Art” theme on the upper around the laces and around the foot insert. The rest of the Nike Hyperposite upper is obsidian with an orange Hyperfuse panel and a total crimson inner lining as well as a crimson air max bubble. A bright green speckled outsole and a matching design on the laces and Nike Swoosh cap this shoe off that is set to release tomorrow morning on Nike online at 8AM EST or at most Nike retailers. @iamdiddy Donates $250,000 to Teen Entrepreneurship Program

diddy give backMusic mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was recently crowned hip-hop’s No.1 cash king and now he’s using his fortune to groom a new batch of millionaires. Diddy made an appearance at the National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge at The Times Center in New York City, where he presented $250,000 to the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).

According to NFTE’s website, the organization’s mission is to “provide programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities and to plan for successful futures.”

Four teen finalists (shown above) Juny Nguyen, Jesus Fernandez, Dagim Girma and Toheeb Okenla received a coaching session from Combs.
