Abstract Art by KaLee Hadlock

Art can be an interesting concept. It takes far more than a brush to canvas, more than pencil to paper. Most importantly of all, it takes imagination. It takes the ability to put thoughts and feelings into a sculpture, or a drawing. I have been told that a picture says one thousand words, and while I can barely draw a stick figure, I can truly admire what perfect ingenuity Artists possess. Such is true of KaLee Hadlock, a 23 year old woman and single mother from Salt Lake City, Utah who was brought to my attention through another site. The pictures attached are two examples of her art. KaLee feels that painting is “like being in a different world” for her and progressively paints to recover from a loss in her life. Thinking upon this, I agree that a picture can say one thousand words indeed.
